This Privacy Policy explains how the TIP app ("the App"), developed and operated by Tesla Institute of Physics, Karimnagar, Telangana, India ("we", "us", "the Institute"), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when students, parents/guardians, and staff use the App.
The App is a student management tool used by Tesla Institute of Physics to track attendance, academic performance, and a points/rewards program for JEE and NEET coaching students. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

All data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore) and Google Cloud infrastructure. Access to student data is restricted through Firestore security rules, and all point/reward calculations are processed through server-side Cloud Functions rather than directly by client devices, reducing the risk of tampering or unauthorized access.

The App is used by students preparing for JEE/NEET examinations, many of whom are minors. We collect only the information necessary to operate the academic tracking and rewards features described above. Parents/guardians may contact us at any time (see Section 8) to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's data. Enrollment in the App through Tesla Institute of Physics implies parental/guardian awareness, as enrollment is managed directly by the Institute.
We retain student data for as long as the student is enrolled at Tesla Institute of Physics, and for a reasonable period afterward for academic record-keeping. Data may be deleted earlier upon a verified request (see Section 8).
